Traditional orchards as wildlife habitats


In amongst a couple of old apple trees today I’ve found these beautiful mushrooms, honey combs from bees nesting in a large hollow trunk and some bird nests.
This is why traditional orchards are such an important habitat, especially on farms where there is regularly a serious lack of wildlife.
